Dr. Sandblom grew up in Algonquin, Illinois where she played soccer and worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal practice until her high school graduation. Upon graduation, she attended Iowa State University, majoring in Animal Sciences, graduating with her bachelor’s degree in 2020. After graduation, Dr. Sandblom attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating as a DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) in 2024. Throughout her time in Iowa and Wisconsin, Dr. Sandblom worked with dairy cows, pigs, horses, dogs, cats, and some zoo animals.
Dr. Sandblom became a veterinarian because along with her love for animals and medicine, she loves the positive impact that veterinarians can have on the community and looks forward to developing these relationships with both clients and animals in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She has an ardor for medical oncology.
Dr. Sandblom has two pets, a Labrador (Duke) and a tabby cat (Emmy). During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, and doing anything outdoors. Her hobbies include camping, reading, and walking her dog through nature trails.
